W. AUSTIN MUSSELMAN, JR • OWNER
Austin Musselman is the managing member of White Oak Investments LLC, a private holding company and a family office that manages its business and investment interests in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, and Wyoming. Austin is the owner and manager of Ashbourne Farms, a 2,250-acre third-generation working farm in La Grange, Kentucky, that has been completely restored as a luxury event and outdoor sporting destination. The White Oak team developed Haymarket, which is a retail chain of stores with an emphasis on locally-sourced products in its commissary kitchen and bakery. White Oak Investments owns and manages real estate, mainly consisting of working farmland, and commercial and multi-family properties.
White Oak Investments also has many passive investments primarily consisting of real estate that also include several operating businesses in the Kentucky region. Austin serves on the Board of Directors of the Glenview Trust Company and Wolf Pen Branch LLC.
Mr. Musselman has served on the Brown-Forman/Brown Family Shareholders Committee and the Brown-Forman Major Gifts Committee. In addition, he also served as an active volunteer of several non-profit organizations, including Chair of the Kentucky Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, President of Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, Vice Chair of the Bluegrass Land Conservancy, the President’s Council of American Farmland Trust. He also served as a Director of the Mockingbird Valley Preservation Association, Kentucky Educational Television Louisville Regional Board, The Sportsmen’s Alliance Board of Directors, Kentucky Country Day, and the Billfish Foundation.
Mr. Musselman is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. MELISSA MILLER • FAMILY OFFICE MANAGER
Melissa serves as the Family Office Manager for the Brown/Musselman families. She has been in this role for ten years, overseeing charitable giving, personal lifestyle management, and estate oversight. Melissa acts as a liaison between the Bond/Musselman business holdings and charitable foundations. She has previously served as a volunteer for CASA. Melissa holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Psychology from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. MACKENZIE CHANCELLOR • OPERATIONS MANAGER
Mackenzie serves both as operations director and a property manager for many White Oak Investments real estate holdings. Mackenzie has been in this position for six years, and all the while has maintained and overseen improvements made to each property and their other day-to-day needs. Mackenzie provides communication between vendors, contractors, and other partners and stakeholders. Mackenzie also volunteers routinely at The Red Cross.Mackenzie holds a B.A. degree in English from The University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
ANNIE COBETTO • CHEIF EXPERIENCE OFFICER, ASHBOURNE ENTERPRISES
Annie was introduced to hospitality and its related businesses at a very young age through her family and their travel in the Middle East and Europe. Those travels influenced her career in hospitality in Charleston, SC, Augusta, GA, the Lexington area, and beyond. In addition to serving as a VP of sales and marketing, Annie managed luxury events at Charleston Place Hotel, The Masters Tournament, and horse farms throughout Kentucky. Annie first served as the Sales and Events Director for Ashbourne Farms and has grown into her role as CXO of Ashbourne Enterprise and Haymarket Projects. She has overseen and worked with the team to develop new businesses and side projects that include product development, construction, and design.
Annie has a B.A from the College of Charleston in both Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism Management.
